Homemade Keto Crisps - Regular & Hot

Image
When you are on Keto, we need to great swaps so that we can keep on track. I loooove chips and dip, or chips and salsa, or well just chips. But chips will never fit into my macros, or be Keto compliant. So i tried some brands at the store, and I found that the cheese flavor was too strong. They were crispy though which is perfect for that crunch you need. I found a way to make them not so strong, and it could probably save some "dough" (keto joke). Let's get to the recipe!! Regular Crisp Ingredients Choose on of the following shredded cheese combo: 1 Cup Sharp Cheddar, 1/2 Cup Sharp Cheddar & 1/2 Cup Colby Jack, or 1 Cup Colby Jack Add the following: 3/4 teaspoon of taco seasoning (check the ingredients or make your own - some companies like to hide sugar in this seasoning) 1 tablespoon of lime or lemon juice Recipe Steps Preheat your oven to 350 F. Mix the ingredients in a bowl.  Place your parchment paper on a baking pan, and with a spoon make sm...

Keto Bread ! Yes You Can Have Grilled Cheese Sandwiches Again!

Image
When moving to the Keto lifestyle, I knew a factor of making this sustainable is learning a substitute for bread. I tried some that tasted too eggy, and I don't know about you but I hated the taste. Eggs are already very hard for me to eat, so I needed a bread recipe that can pull me through and keep my on the right track! Another factor when making food, is the ease of the recipe. If I have more than 6 steps, I have to weigh its convenience. Here are 5 steps to making yummy Keto Bread, and one of those steps is turning on the oven. Ingredients 1/2 Cup of Butter (microwave in a microwave safe bowl to melt it) 2 Cups of Almond Flour 5 Eggs (you can add 1 more, but I don't enjoy the eggy taste when it comes to breads) 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 2 tablespoons of Coconut Oil 1/2 teaspoon of Xanthum Gum (this is not 100% necessary, but it does improve the bread texture) Pinch to 1/2 teaspoon of Salt Cooking Spray Instructions Preheat oven to 355 F. Mix all i...
